Having worked in the Higher Education Sector for almost 30 years, Toni first started to work in the Estates Office of the University of Birmingham as a "Space Co-ordinator" focussing on Space Use and Functional suitability surveys. This work led to looking closely at how lecture theatres and seminar rooms etc were managed, equipped and supported. This in turn led to working closely with the University's Television and Film Unit where a passion for creating and developing innovative and technology rich learning spaces that support and inspire both students and staff began.
As Head of Learning Space Development, Toni went on to manage and deliver a wide range of exciting spaces to support the University's mission.
In 2013 Toni joined the University of Hong Kong as Associate Director, Learning Environments to manage the newly completed Learning Commons on the Centennial Campus, and the development of new learning environments. Toni returned to the UK in 2019.
