Rachel Hunt began her career as a Royal Air Force Engineering Officer. She then joined Unicol as marketing director, specifying mounting solutions for many AV projects.

She worked with the NHS England Working Group on the Interim Adult Gender Protocol 2013.

Hunt served on the BSI steering committees for BS 8590, the Code of Practice for the installation of audiovisual equipment, published in 2014.

Hunt is now retired and is currently promoting practical tools to address the growing trend of mental health issues, ensuring that everyone can experience harmony, fulfilment, and happiness. She is a member of the AVIXA UK Women’s Council and the Diversity Council.
