Audio visual design Consultant and Project Manager at Octavius RE Ltd a consultancy started in April 2016. Having worked for the previous ten years developing and managing a continually expanding AV Installations department I decided to focus solely on system design. As a technology nerd and being passionate about good design I wanted to take the skills and knowledge I had gained and create a consultancy that approached system design in a different way. Not only focusing on technology and budget but also to demystify complex systems and make them more friendly and accessible to the less technically aware users. I also wanted to bring my experience of managing a rental business to emphasize awareness on the cost of ownership and commercial return on investment in AV technology. This was to align good design with commercial value for my clients.
